Cladding Systems
As innovators in the natural stone industry, we have expanded the Natural Stone Surfacing System to include cladding systems for most any type of interior or exterior application. As with the other products in the Soterra family, our cladding systems were developed to be lightweight, easy to install, durable, and beautiful. We have developed different application systems to allow our cladding to be extremely versatile Ñ depending on the need they can be used separately or in combination to produce beautiful results.
Alumi-Clad System
This lightweight cladding panel combines the strength of the aluminum honeycomb core sandwiched by an aluminum sheet and banded with an aluminum shell. The aluminum band is riveted to the core and includes a series of slots for attaching the panels to a variety of building strut systems with channel brackets.
Alumi-Clad panels can be produced in any thickness and in sizes up to 4' x 8'! These panels may be installed in conjunction with the conventional strut system by connecting to the slots in the aluminum banding or other mechanical fastening systems.
Laticrete System
The Laticrete System is most appropriate for interior and exterior low level cladding for both remodeling and new construction. With aluminum-backed products, panels can be fabricated at the installation site. When cladding over an existing surface it may be necessary to incorporate the Soterra "L" or "O" trim pieces.
